Dreamscape Meets Asana Yoga Hike
Friday June 27 4:30p-7:00p
Bearwallow Mountain Trail
Hendersonville, NC
What are you drawn to as you wander?
What does the wind through the trees remind you?
In the vastness of nature, we find mirrors of ourselves.
This journey is a deep reconnection with both your inner landscape and the incredible Earth that cradles us.
We'll blend the mindful movement of asana with an exploration of your dreamscapes in waking life, all within the stunning backdrop of the mountains.
Commune with breathtaking scenery, remembering that every encounter is a reflection. Let the wild outdoors guide you to a deeper understanding of who you are.
We will be meeting at Bearwallow Mountain Trail at 4:15pm.
Bearwallow Mountain is just 19 miles (35 mins) from downtown Asheville, on the way to Chimney Rock and Lake Lure.
Directions and meeting time
From Downtown Asheville:
Take I-240 east and continue straight onto US Hwy 74-A East toward Chimney Rock.
Follow 74-A East for about 12.5 miles (up a very long set of switchback curves) to the town of Gerton.
Turn right on Bearwallow Mountain Road and go 2.1 miles to the top of the ridge and park on the side of the road (where pavement starts) near the gate in front of a dirt road (don't block gate).
This road is unpaved, but all cars should make it fine.
We will meet at the parking area at the top of the road.
Please prepare to arrive at 4:15pm as we will begin our centering practice at 4:30.
Yoga Hike description
This one-mile trail will lead us up to a beautiful large bald summit at 4,232 ft with panoramic views. This hike up to the summit is challenging, but not strenuous. Don't worry, we won't be speed racing to the top - enjoying the journey is all part of the fun. At the top of the majestic Bearwallow bald, we will share a grounding asana practice.
Please bring:

• Light rain jacket

• Water, and a pack to carry all personal items.
• Yoga mat
