Weeping I stumble and fall into the darkness as I follow that light.
She calls to me, singing in the voice of the Great Lake my body has known and returned to for years.
I arrive at her feet as they gently merge into my own; reminding me of these liquid roots.
I cry, I scream, I beg, I pray, I surrender to what is.
I exhale.
Opening my eyes, I am once again reminded that you are here... you are there... you are everywhere I am.
Drifting gently in the breezes and landing gently at my tired feet; giving me strength to continue on.
Together we fly.
