It burns…Radiant like the sun with depth of ocean; Love between two souls becomes wildfire if not carefully tended to.

Crickets…The winds…My heartbeat

Clarity….Begins to present itself like an old familiar friend, reminding me I am never alone….

I can see it in your eyes….I can see it in the night sky.

Perched for so long on this precipice….Waiting for permission to fly…Given reasons as to why it is not yet time…

Open…Raw…Exposed…

Wings are still and feather delicately lay, one on top of the other; resting at last. Perched with grace; looking down and all around, drinking in this magnificent moment.

The cloudy waters of a busy mind are temporary. It is up to us to pause, to sit, and to wait.

As the expansive sky holds sacred space for the sun and the moon to take their turns illuminating her beauty.

Why am I resisting and what for?

Mighty mountains that many climb have remained on her shoulders, but not by choice. As the promise of the sun rises with conviction and with courage, so to her eyes open to greet the day with determination that she WILL shine.

The world spins madly on with my feet planted firmly in the ground. It is within these moments of peace and pause that the answers lie.

The gentle whisper of stillness calls to me as I close my eyes and feel the sensation of the soles of my feet.

I can feel it in my bones…It is an ache and a pull that is felt beneath the skin and the muscles; all the way to the center of the marrow.

They are calling again….I can hear their steady song in my heart and I can feel their power and pulse in my veins.

I will never forget the first time I saw her standing there, consuming me with her hypnotic stare.

Crawling close to the ground; nourished and held by Mother Earth as I learned how to tread upon her ground; knowing I was where I needed to be in order to experience and learn, but that there was so much more to come, and that even as I so often felt it, I was so very far from alone.
